Hello, I am guessing if you have got to this page you are wanting to know a little more about who is behind Tech Savvy Solutions. Well, I am Dan. It was myself who came up with the idea behind Tech Savvy and approached Neil at a former place of work to see if he was interested in joining me on this venture to supply honest, great value IT for businesses. We witnessed first-hand that IT can be a hostile environment between teams if it isn’t managed correctly; especially between sales and technical. This is where I spotted an opportunity to form an IT company with no smoke and mirrors. Just do what we say on the tin. But we aren’t just your stereotypical IT nerds that sit in a dark room, we bring personal I.T y (see what I did there) to what can be a minefield for many of our customers. As we continue to build on our great foundations our relationships with our customers get stronger and stronger. We personalise our approach, which if you ask me, is said very flippantly in this industry. Our personal approach on the other hand is genuine, to the point where the majority of our clients have become friends.
Dan has always had that entrepreneurial edge. From Washing cars at the local hair dressers to being the go to Drinks and Confectionary seller in school where he had people selling for him. Dan was destined to run his own business. Not being one for education, Dan seized the opportunity to do an I.T. Apprenticeship in London. So at the age of 17, Dan packed his bag and off he went. Dan completed the apprenticeship 12 months earlier than required and passed with distinction. He was soon asked to managed a new overnight support team for his employer who had global offices. As part of this process, Dan was flown out to Australia for 2 weeks to meet the staff and management teams. After 18 months of night shifts, Dan thought it was time to, once again, pack his bags.
This time he was heading back to his home town, Manchester. The day he travelled back, Dan went straight to an interviews with a large, Manchester based I.T company. After successfully securing the job, this is where Dan developed his people and I.T. skills further. It is also here, that Dan met Neil; who is now his business partner in Tech Savvy. After a couple of years, Dan and Neil decided to setup Tech Savvy with the vision to give honest, no smoke & mirrors, Value for money, IT Support for the SME market.

Hello, I’m Neil and I put the “Tech” into Tech Savvy. I have always had a passion for technology and I’m always eager to explore new technologies that can benefit and enhance our clients’ IT infrastructure. I have always been fascinated by computing, which led me to achieve a first-class honours degree in Business Information Technology. After that, I quickly worked my way up from an entry-level technician to a senior member of an IT team.
I believe the key to my success is the combination of my passion for technology and my commitment to providing first-class customer service. In 2017, I met a likeminded person in Dan, and together we founded Tech Savvy. We have since leveraged our knowledge, skills, and expertise to deliver top-notch solutions that meet all of our clients’ needs.
